Indian Wedding England

Four Seasons Hampshire, England

This is one of our favourite weddings to date with one heck of a dream team. Hosted at Four Seasons Hampshire, this mammoth 2 day English/Indian fusion wedding really had everything!

The bride loved colour, nature and Amie Bone (who wouldn't!). Together, we wanted to create something unique and outside of the box. We also wanted to host as much of the wedding as we could outdoors, utilising a different space for each event.

The welcome lunch was a vibrant tropical design which drew inspiration from the bride's Zimbabwean home. Guests enjoyed relaxed dining to the sound of the marimba players outside in the summer sun on natural wooden tables with birds of paradise and oranges. This was the perfect welcome to an epic weekend!

The afternoon took us to the Western-style civil ceremony in the walled garden. The Great Gatsby theme saw beautifully rich reds frame this ceremony, which looks like a painting.

Dinner followed in the walled garden under the stars and a canopy of pea lights. This opulent dinner by candlelight was luxurious and romantic, harking back to the drama of the 1920s. Little details, such as authors for table names and book quotes for each guest, add that extra detail.

This epic day ended with a secret speakeasy afterparty in one of the smaller ballrooms, which transported guests to another era. Dimmed lighting, candles and a light fog set the mood, and the dancing didn't end until the early hours of the morning.

Day 2 of this epic Indian wedding was the day of all the cultural and family traditions, which saw a burst of colour and joy. The colour palette for day two was a rainbow of vibrant tones, mainly in whites, pinks and blues, primarily expressed through Amie Bone's insane florals.

The mirrored aisle was lined with an evolving rainbow of whites, pinks and blue florals, meeting and climbing the mandap to frame the ceremony perfectly. Amie came up with this design, and the bride and I immediately loved it!

The bar for the ceremony and part one of the cocktail reception was also a wild juxtaposition in pinks and reds, making a statement. The bride walked down the aisle with her brother escorting, holding an umbrella of flowers... just perfect!

There was so much fun on this day, with the baraat, fantastic bar menu, stilt walkers and stunning outfits. From the ceremony reception, we moved to the evening reception on the ballroom terrace. Beautiful seating areas lined a circular mirrored bar around a huge tree. As we moved inside, we saw a ceiling of flowers meeting a wall of rainbow flowers to echo that of the ceremony. Informal seating around a large circular mirrored dancefloor was the perfect setting for the traditional dances before partying the night away.
