Lavanya and Jay’s wedding in the enchanting landscapes of Tuscany beautifully blended modernity with the rich traditions of Indian culture with the timeless elegance of the Renaissance. Set against the backdrop of sprawling vineyards at the beautiful Tenuta Di Artimino, this celebration was a vibrant tapestry of colour, love, and joy.
The first event, which was their Haldi celebration, took place in the main hotel outside in a private garden area, surrounded by their nearest and dearest. We kept the setup simple but welcoming with lots of outdoor seating and yellow hanging floral strands from the tree where Lavanya and Jay sat.
That evening Lavanya and Jay celebrated their Sangeet event with everyone all dressed up in beautiful outfits. We had a blend of both Indian and Italian food for guests to enjoy, a modern dance floor where a number of traditional dances were displayed and even though we had a short downpour it definitely didn’t dampen the mood and we managed to go back outside to enjoy the rest of the evening.
For their wedding day, both Lavanya and Jay embraced their Indian heritage while incorporating contemporary elements into their wedding ensemble.
The ceremony took place in front of the picturesque Villa La Ferdinanda, surrounded by the Tuscan hills. Traditional Indian rituals took place and were infused with Tuscan charm, creating a unique fusion of culture. Guests were mesmerised as Lavanya and Jay exchanged vows under a floral mandap, hand-in-hand, with the Tuscan backdrop as their witness.
As the day transitioned into night, the celebration continued with a lavish dinner reception that showcased the best of Italian heritage and renaissance. Traditional Italian cuisine delighted the guests, whilst sitting together on long tables surrounded by rich florals and an abundance of candles really made the dinner reception feel opulent and inviting.
Following this the after party certainly switched things up as we moved down into the basement level of the villa. We went from a very romantic ambient setting to Berlin club vibes. Mixing a mirrored dance floor with strobe lighting and open bar, DJ Amxn really got everybody up dancing right through to the early hours of the morning.
Lavanya and Jay’s wedding was a stunning celebration of love, showcasing how the essence of Indian culture can seamlessly merge with the romantic charm of Tuscany.
