After searching across 3 different European destinations, O&J settled on the gorgeous Errol Park Estate, just 10 minutes from the bride’s family home in Scotland. This prompted us to create a wedding that felt authentically ’true to them’.
O&J opted for 2 sperry tent structures for their wedding day. We kept the ceremony tent simple, and let the wild floral arch do the talking. The groom’s mother is an incredible florist and took on the challenge of wedding flowers. Rosie created lavish arrangements of blooms across the estate, ranging from urns to arches.
Inspired by the expansive gardens of the estate, we brought the outside in for the reception tent. An abundance of flowers and foliage dressed the sperry tent and the chairs provided a modern twist on a classic wooden look. We went for a classic colour palette of white and green, but featured pops of blush and old rose with our napkins and of course my favourite tapered candles.
Our bride had a clear vision for her cake, wanting to combine ivory vintage piping with an oversized rectangular shape. Liggy’s Cakes created a 2 metre long cake made up of 5 of their signature flavours and it was divine. Absolutely showstopping. After the cake cutting, O&J moved across the tent for their first dance. The guests followed and enjoyed a night of live music from Salut Band.
