The wedding of Franziska and Alex was nothing short of a fairytale, and Chateau de Tourreau was the perfect venue, modern yet reminiscent of its rich history. The Chateau is steeped in grandeur, and we wanted to capitalise on its wowing effect.
The first instance was at the ceremony, where guests' chairs framed the roundabout. This created a naturally long aisle, allowing Franziska's dad to drive down the iconic tree-lined driveway before parking and walking Franziska the remaining distance to the altar.
We always work with the surroundings to enhance the design for each wedding. When we visited the venue, we looked down from the balcony to where dinner would be hosted and were inspired to use the cross-shaped pathways as the layout for dinner.
This resulted in one of our most famous images of dining to date! The colour palette echoed that of the Chateau and its prominent green shutters. The night was rounded off with dancing under the stars to a DJ accompanied by live saxophone and the option to ride the carousel. It doesn't get better than that!
