Kimi and Arty chose to celebrate their wedding at Chateau du Grand-Lucé, with their guests flying in from Australia and England.
The weekend of events began with a formal rehearsal dinner, with the couple seeking a whimsical and ethereal feel. To pull this together we used serpentine tables styled with bespoke linen draping and menus, as well as stone table numbers and tableware. The candle only centrepiece was breathtaking and after dark created the most beautiful romantic glow.
On the wedding day, we focussed on classic white and greens, featuring the bride’s favourite hydrangeas. We styled the ceremony altar with an asymmetrical ground arch with blooming hydrangeas and bright foliage. The dining table was minimalistic; a white base with off-white floral arrangements to pop against the cloths. We added gold and black accents for a point of difference. The guests were serenaded at dinner with a solo saxophonist performance, which set the tone perfectly. Dinner came to an end when Kimi and Arty headed to the end of the table for their champagne tower and sparklers. The after party was in the Ballroom, and the guests danced all night under the statement chandeliers.
The post-wedding pool party was our Sunday event. We created a bespoke menu with the chef with the couple’s favourite bitesized foods, which the guests could graze on throughout the day. The couple’s signature ‘Siamtini’ cocktail was featured during this event, paying homage to their famous dinner parties. As the sun was setting, we transitioned down to the lower gardens for the farewell dinner. Burgers and fries were served and we went for monochromatic burgundy styling, to make sure we didn’t complete the weekend without a pop of the bride’s favourite colour.
