When Laura and Oliver first approached us, they wanted a wedding in the Mediterranean during the summer with a beach nearby. After months of searching, the venue they fell in love with couldn't be further from the original brief. They chose to host their wedding at the incredible Adare Manor in Ireland during the winter. Can you believe it!
They wanted an elegant and luxurious design whilst still feeling warm and intimate. With this in mind, the ceremony held at the nearby church was decorated with classic white and green. In contrast, the colour palette at the castle was elevated by adding navy blue and gold.
To us, the ballroom was simply divine! The tables featured a mixture of floral and foliage arrangements and many candles (you can never have too many!). To create the ambience they wanted, we added mirrored table tops to reflect the chandeliers' warm-coloured light, which made the room glow. There were also a few large trees between the tables to make the room feel cosier.
To kick off the evening, guests found their seat assignments using escort cards with their names attached to shot glasses before entering the dazzling ballroom. The night ended with everyone dancing the night away to the amazing Irish band Riff Shop, who we love!
