I like to think that everything in life has a place and a purpose. I think this defines me as a person. I am the ‘organised one’, I organise the whole team as well as my family and friends so it was only fitting that I found my dream role as MO Assistant Wedding Planner.
I fell into events after moving back from France with no idea of what I wanted to do with my life. I had lived in France for many years, snowboarding every day, training to be an instructor and owning a restaurant with my husband. But I needed to find a new love, a new passion and this is where Matthew Oliver Weddings fell into my life.
I became a mother in February 2020, right before lockdown, perfect timing I would say! Becoming a mother was the most incredible gift, she has taught me so much about who I really am and everyday there is something new to learn and discover. The World through a child's eyes is magical.
Food and beverage is a huge passion of mine and plays a huge role in my life, it was only right that I married a chef!
During my spare time (which is limited) you will always find me keeping active, whether that be running after school drop off, playing tennis, at the gym or general Mum life, I just love the feeling of exercise and being outdoors. My favourite day is Friday mornings with my husband, Jamie, when we go for a run followed by a treat - “coffee and croissant” - at our favourite spot in York!
