I like to think that everything in life has a place and a purpose. I think this defines me as a person. I am the ‘organised one’, I organise the whole team as well as my family and friends so it was only fitting that I found my dream role and became a Personal Assistant/Wedding Planner.
I fell into events after moving back from France with no idea of what I wanted to do with my life. I had lived in France for many years, snowboarding every day, training to be an instructor and owning a restaurant with my Husband. But I needed to find a new love, a new passion and this is where Matthew Oliver Weddings fell into my life. I stumbled across the beautiful little office of Matthew Oliver Weddings whilst walking around my new home town of Bradford-on-Avon. After continuous emails, I got the job! After just over a year with the company, I sadly made the decision to leave at the end of 2019 but Matthew and Bertie promised the door was always open whenever I was ready to return…18 Months later, I was back and the rest is history!
I became a mother for the first time in February 2020, right before lockdown, perfect timing I would say! Becoming a mother was the most incredible gift, she has taught me so much about who I really am and everyday there is something new to learn and discover. The World through a child's eyes is magical.
Food and beverage is a huge passion of mine and plays a huge role in my life, it was only right that I married a chef! Jamie is my best friend, we have traveled the world together and been fortunate enough to have eaten in some incredible restaurants. We love cooking together at home, and sitting down for a delicious meal with a good bottle of wine is my idea of the perfect night.
During my spare time (which is limited) you will always find me keeping active, whether that be running, completing a hiit workout or chasing after my daughter, I just love the feeling of exercise.
