Chelsea and Neil decided on the up and coming European destination of Croatia for their wedding weekend. After an extensive search we honed in on Dubrovnik, and went for separate ceremony and reception venues. It was the first trip to Croatia for most of the guests so the aim was to showcase the beauty of the destination with our event locations.
The ceremony venue really spoke for itself. Lazareti is a historic building located just outside the Old Town’s walls. With it being in the heart of the city, we had plenty of locals and tourists watching in awe at Chelsea walking down the aisle. Despite the central location, the ceremony backed straight onto the waterfront. We opted for simple florals and used an arch to frame the window overlooking the sea.
After the ceremony it was just a quick trip up to Višnjica, our reception location. The venue is a blank canvas nestled in the hills above the city. We had the most breathtaking views throughout the evening and the sunset provided the perfect backdrop to dinner. We continued the green and white floral throughout, as well as installing glistening chandeliers to add some glamour. The party continued into the early hours under the light canopy. Just magic!
