Getting married at a French Chateau was the dream when Ale and Michael first approached us about planning their destination wedding in France. They were torn between two incredibly stunning venues, but the Chateau du Grand Luce won their hearts.
We worked to create an elegant and modern design while keeping the grandeur of the Chateau in mind. The colour palette was primarily white with a black accent, adding a stylish element to the design.
This was the first time we had used the steps of the Chateau as an altar for the ceremony, and it just worked beautifully with the simple white flowers against the pale stone of the castle. We promise it was as dreamy as it looks in the photos.
The design for dinner was one luxurious long table set under chandeliers, creating a warming atmosphere as the sun set during dinner. Each place setting featured vintage cut glass and a menu with the couple's monogrammed seal, which created the perfect balance between light and dark. The night ended with a fantastic firework display and dancing until late in the ballroom to one incredible live band.
