Emma and Adam's wedding was simple, elegant and intimate. It's even one of the few times Mister Bertie acted as a celebrant. The venue was a hidden gem set in the hills of Provence, and we were inspired by the building's charm and surrounding greens. This led us to the colour palette of classic whites and delicate greens, which helped to create an effortlessly elegant look. Being a small and intimate wedding, we held the ceremony at the front of the Chateau with the chairs lining the trees that led to the intricately carved wooden doors. We didn't want to detract from its beautiful design, so we opted for foliage over the doorway and candles on the steps to frame the altar. The terrace where dinner was held looked onto the most beautiful Provencal view. To add to the elegant provencal look, we used stone-coloured plates with frilled edges to create some interest and lots of candles to create an ambience during dinner. Simple yet oh so romantic!
